!Some News! Yesterday we went down the mountain for the first time to get some groceries, we haven't seen a car for 23 days and it's quite an interesting feeling! Today we go back to the shelter with enough food to complete our month up there. We wanted to thank everybody that supported us once again in this adventure. Lastly, we got slightly lucky with the snow conditions and got some fresh snow images for the movie so we hope it's gonna keep going that way 😀 We wish all of you a great week and will try to give more news when we get some network :p

Hello hello! We don't have much network up there but we have the chance to watch sunrises, sunsets and stars everyday! It was extremely sunny and warm since we arrive 11days ago and it was perfect to enjoy the stunning landscapes and chill in the hammocks. However the snow conditions are pretty bad but we might get lucky in the upcoming days with some fresh snow 😀

We have been living in the shelter for a week now.

We have been living in the shelter for a week now. It took us 2 and a half days of transportation as we decided to transport a cubic meter of wood on up there. But that's it, we can say that we are well settled with all the necessary comfort!

Time has passed quickly since; we explored the surroundings, considered future downhill rides and enjoyed looking at the outstanding views all day long. Unfortunately, snow is scarce, it's February 20 and it's been a month since last snow falls. So we have to aim for the slopes that have well taken the sun during the day if we want to have a bit of fun. The snowpack is super stable with an avalanche risk of 1/5.

Patience is the key around here. But it is not so bad in itself, it is good to live in the moment. The "now" gets all its underdtanding, the weather is nice and the place is epic. We go to bed and get up with the sun, we no longer have the same notion of time, what day or what time is it today by the way? Nevermind, life is there, now, right in front if our eyes. We do not live in full autarky as the shelter where we have taken up residence is very popular among hikers, but we love to have this company! Visitors come from everywhere and have so much to teach us and bring us, it's great!
